I am hoping to see some more of their airsoft tactical gear  Amazing how many different things can have a Red Dot attached to them!

I certainly won't be wasting my money, I could start listing everything that was wrong with this years show but my fingers will hurt, one thing is for sure even the traders I know that were there were complaining !

Go on please - feed back is always helpful to organisers - it's the only way they learn.

If the organisers are looking for feedback they only have to look at previous posts on this site made at the time of this year's show or in the week or so following it. The matter was debated at some length at the time.

We found it incredibly busy which means it was certainly of interest to shooters however the access problems, poor parking and physical volume of people have put me off future events. I really did enjoy Newark and I put that down to ease of entry and exit and the ability to actual speak to the vendors. I went to the last show to specifically speak to some people and came away having spoken to under a third of them simply because shouting across a 5 deep mass was impossible. Interestingly when I spoke to a couple of them after the show they told me takings had been way down on previous years despite the volume of people.

A trade day/half day would be good however I am not sure it would be economically viable for the organisers.

Ikea carefully control the number of persons in their stores not just for reasons of safety but also because they found that the amount spent in store in relation to the density of persons present actually reduces after a certain point.

There were only 2 problems for me that could be fixed by the following:

1) Open up all site entrances.
2) Distribute the stalls from halls 1 + 2 across halls 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5.

Dolphin and Riflecraft were just next to eachother, March on the other side, look at the lay out and make sure that the stands that most people are likely to go to are not close together. That is one way to avoid crowds.

That assumes a level of competency and subject matter appreciation on behalf of the organiser...

I only managed to get about half the stuff I'd wanted to buy, (some Varget and a couple of reloading trays) I physically couldn't get near enough to the stalls to spend my money?!
