Good luck. I used to have an account with Gunstar stuck it for 6 months put up around three dozen firearms. None of them sold through Gunstar, no enquiries, nothing.

Puzzled me somewhat that, mainly military but a selection of sporters, 22 semi autos as well so a reasonable selection of good second hand rifles not stupidly priced and not a bite. Nearly all the rifles sold in the time period but none of the customers had seen them through Gunstar.

I have just listed the Fortmeier and then another rifle and inbetween two were listed, it seems busy enough.

Aye there are plenty listed it was the lack of response to listings that puzzled me.

Obviously things must be selling off it or they wouldn't stay in business, just sharing my experience of using Gunstar.

Just did a search for a rifle and I found my advert that I listed on gunstar on a website where I have not listed it.

Guntree.org.uk

Does anyone know if gunstar uses that as an extra place to advertise?

Yup, one rifle left the house yesterday, although I have to admit that was mostly due to this forum :)

Out of curiosity I emailed them a week ago for the costs and benefits of opening a trade account with them, as there are no details on the web site and I have had nothing back from them yet.

Obviously not too keen for my custom.

Depends on the price of you guns Christel- assuming we are talking about Alex's site :squirrel:

The price is based on the gun selling price.
Gun price...................Advert price
£1 - £125......................£ 4.65
£126 - £1000.................£ 7.55
£1001 - £9999...............£ 14.45
£10000+,......................£ 24.95
£POA...........................£ 17.95

Air rifles and pistol are currently on special offer and most adverts will be only 99p!!

Gun price....................Advert price
£1 - £750.......................£ 0.99
£751+............................£ 4.95
£POA.............................£ 4.95
Never argue with an idiot, he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Graham M,

I couldn't possibly say tongueout

I was quoted £17.95 for the Fortmeier, listing it at £3850.

Personally I think it is too much. Considering all the ads on the website flashing away when one opens the site I do not think it needs to be that expensive. Not very supportive of the shooting world me thinks.
