DPD have just been and dropped off the last of my bulk buys,

I usually have to get these in the US as the UK prices are about double (around £290/1000 plus shipping). However, I managed to find a German supllier (Klaus Pickert Jagd & Sportwaffen) who had some in stock and got them for almost the same price as I would have in the US but without the added expense of going there and of course having to carryr an extra 23Kg of luggage back!.

I now have enough powder, primers and bullets for my .308 target shooting to last me about 3 years by which time the current shortages should (hopefully) be a thing of the past!.

That's a great price. I almost wish I hadn't seen this post - I've just bought 6000 Sierras.

How do you find they perform?

I was very surprised at the price, I'd seen some on eGun.de around €195 + €25 shipping but most of the sellers wouldn't ship to the UK :bad: and of course my lovely bank wants £25 for an International Payment!.

In the end I got them for €406 shipped, bank transfer went through the company I use to send money to my friend in Florida for stuff (Global WebPay) and only cost £4.95!!.

I find they shoot slightly better than the 168g MatchKing, Lapua Scenar and A-Max I've tried but I'm mainly shooting at 100 to 300yds so no idea how they perform after that. I did sent a few to Ovenpaa to try so maybe he has a better idea of how they perform at longer distances?.

I'm now totally broke (again!), mainly I blame Dogyrog  as he did me a really good deal on 8Kg of Viht N140 and 10K large rifle primers last month!.

Jeff,

Know how you feel, pals in the US are still unable to get half of the things they need and I can't see it improving here until it stabilizes over there.
Although it goes against the grain, I've also started to stock up via European suppliers where prices haven't jumped.
I haven't forgotten your help with the CTS, if you ever get stuck and need anything specific let me know and I'll try to help. :good:

Now I know where to come if I run short of bullets for my 308. :goodjob:

I could not get them to shoot at 1000, not a hope for my rifle which is usually quite happy with most things it is fed. they did not lend themselves to pointing either.

Best of luck :good:

You'd have to get past the two well trained and highly ferocious Guard Cats first
