Damn GMK !

Went to the CLA Game Fair on Friday. Earlier I had spoken with GMK and was assured that they would have a display 1301 Semi-Auto shotgun there.

So, on Friday lunchtime I went to their stand - was it there? Not that I could see. When I finally managed to get to speak to one of the GMK staff - most were too interested in talking to their friends and not potential customers, they told me "Oh - we forgot to bring it ... it's back in the office, it might be here on Sunday ... can you come back?"

How do you forget the gun that has just been launched and all of et first delivery have been sold!

As if I was going to take a chance and drive back there on Sunday, pay the "extortionate" admission fee, on the chance it would be there.

Sounds about right for them. I had the money in my pocket and was prepared to buy right there for a Sako 85 synthetic but the idiot kept trying to convince me to order it in another calibre. Obviously they had excess rifles in. 243.

They weren't even open when I walked past early on (8.30ish) , virtually every other stall was open.

My mate had a similar problem with them at Newark . Wanted to buy a gun and they just said . " can't sell these guns so you'll have to sort it out with some one else !" Got the money in his hand but no interest in discussing any furthur or setting up a sale for later . They deserve to loose out !
