It's the "little things" that make me smile....

Shooting at 300m (329 yards) yesterday. Was in the first detail. Target went down, came back up, went down again, and so on. All the time, the little day-glo never moved, or so it seemed. At three hundred, any group genuinely sub moa is doing alright. My own benchmark is genuinely one moa 100 to 1000.

The rifle was my only real keeper. An RPA Interceptor multi shot, in 7mm-08 Remington. Got a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20 on top.

A little time later it's my turn in the butts. Walking down, we meet the first party coming back up. Mark says to me, "First shooter on lane 5?", "Yep", "Thought you might like to see this...."

He handed me the day-glo that didn't seem to move from the v-bull..... It didn't!

It's the little things that make me smile.... (It was "Kentucky windage" windage as well as the rifle had a 100m zero for some load work....!!)
