Case Head seperation

The stuff I used was the same 55gn FMJ, but this was eight years ago - so by no means current info. With the crimped primer pockets on the fmj stuff, I can honestly say I wouldn't bother benchloading this type of brass again.

They are a commercial brand as Milsurp would not be stamped .223

The cases were pretty grotty although they had 3 hours in the tumbler, anyway the headstamp is FC 11 223 REM, That's Federal isn't it.

Yes, FC is the head stamp used on American Eagle not sure about the other Federal Brands.

Say no more then scrap bin it is, I'm about ready for a good weigh in anyway.

I think I would be having a word with the NRA shop if they sold you them as once fired because they obviously are not in fact they are pretty grotty cases. I would show them the cases and complain bitterly.

They are once fired as the primers were crimped in, I took the chance at £8/100 but will be informing the shop as to the quality issues.
