I saw it too, handled and have to say I'd rather sink my money into the 22 LBP from Caledonia Classic Arms. Half the money to buy and run and I think it looks great.

Does anyone have any pics, or links to pics of CCA's new .22lbp? Can't seem to see anything on their website related to the new pistol (and I just happen to have a slot for acquisition of a .22lbp!)...

Mark, the trouble is we are a bit out of touch as far as mag capacities of modern pistols..... They are now somewhat akin to what SMG's used to be!!

21 in 9mm. 14 in 45ACP.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Cheers Dan. Definitely different, and a bit of a departure from the 1911 fare...

Yes. Saw it and handled it. It was "Q" around the stand, so the fella took the trigger lock off as well!

Well built and well finished. With my medium sized hands, couldn't quite reach the lever release with the thumb of the shooting hand. The barrel is actually back bored, so there is a five inch barrel and seven inches of "extension tube". The rear rod was as discreet as could be and up in the aim, it felt like a "proper" pistol!

Midway intend to also add some optional extras. Slimmed safety, reprofiled lever release, ambi controls. Price was confirmed at 1600.

I added my name to the list of those "expressing an interest"! In .45......

hopfully the repofiled lever release can be operated with one hand, spoke to the bloke on the phone, he said this is a proto type and you will be able to use the lever release with one hand!

if you already have a lbr and want this, can you just put down targert shooting or do you have to be more spefic since i already have a .44 lbr???

The CCA LBP uses full size plastic mags that take 14 rounds of 22. There is a pic somewhere on the web, I'll see if I can find it.

You are NOT helping!!! At leas this time i'm going to have to wait to get one and that should be enough time for the inevitable kinks to be worked out
