Hi
I am looking for recommendations for loads for a 243.
I will be loading Berger 65g.
I have previously loaded 62g Varmint Grenades over 41g of N140, and been very pleased with the results.
I cannot find a load for the 65g Berger, and if I look at 70g loads,the Lee manual gives 38.7 - 43.2 g
but Lapua says 41.0 - 44.5.
Any advice would be welcome.
I know that this is probably not the best powder choice, but it is what I have available.
thanks
Mark

Re: Advice needed for N140 loading
Around 39.3 grains of N140 built to 2.710" will keep you at just under 1000m/s for MoD legal ranges. For non MoD range work you can go as far as 43.5ish grains of N140 according to QuickLoad.
I will email you the data.
