Straight Pull SVT40
Now then. I've found at one of our Firearm Emporiums a straight pull, UK legal, SVT40 faux sniper. I have no interest in this particular rifle however I would love a straight pull SVT. Lots of talk about the SLRs that members have but no mention of these. Who made them and where can I get one?

I've fired the original semi-auto version, a fearsome fire breathing beast it was too

CPG design. Don't want to waste money on a fake 'scope and mount however I reckon the rifle would look good in the cabinet. Surely if enough of us wanted one someone could be found to make them? Also the original rifles would be much cheaper than SLRs.

Too right - I stood in an armoury full of them recently - all minty and the trade price was $100 ish each !!!Blighty wrote:CPG design. There was one on GunStar last night
Just checked it's still there.

The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

That's the feller! CPG is the seller. £1800 = eek! Originals snipers weren't all that accurate.

Re: Straight Pull SVT40
We have pawdled them at the HBSA meetings. Nice bits of kit, but not worth £1800.
