Re: Good 5.56 surplus
Hi all
NRA has substantial quantities of GGG 5.56 and has orders in place for resupply every couple of months. If you want quantities of at least 1k phone me or Fred to discuss delivery costs and legalities. If you want 10k plus phone me to discuss terms.

Mods, apologies, seemed easier than opening in for sale or in national associations

The guy lives in the North East of England and he is not a RFD so could not possibly take advantage of your offer the previous post is totally irrelevant. Do you actually read these posts before responding.Hi all

Re: Good 5.56 surplus
What people do is get the ammunition in bulk shipped to an RFD and then call it off as and when they need it. I know a couple of people with 10k plus rounds sitting on a shelf waiting for them to pick up when they need them, a friendly RFD will often be happy to oblige.

Even better, no postage costs involved.
Re: Good 5.56 surplus
That RG ammo, a couple of years back I bought a 1000 rounds of the stuff and while it may be great for straight pull rifles it was useless in semi auto AR-15's. I reckoned it was under loaded because none of it would fully cycle and eject in an AR-15. I've seen it around over here but have always left it alone and prefer to load my own stuff.

Re: Good 5.56 surplus
Does anyone know who sells either GGG and/or Partizan in Northern Ireland? I'm pulling my hair out. Practically raging.
When I email dealers about these specific brands all I get (if they reply at all) ranges from "yer, we sell ammo" to "well, we sell Federal"...
None of them to date have been helpful in the slightest to be honest and when I've asked mainland dealers (Krank etc) about RFD transfers I just get "err... contact so and so".
So, no inclination to make a sale then, eh guys?...
wtfwtf

Salut ,
I dont know about "surplus" ammo . I buy my 223R for my AR in Luxemburg for € 225/1,000 + €15 transport to France which works out £ 21/100 delivered "a la maison".
It used to be €175 but at 225 I think it is still good value. I dont know if you can import it into the UK ?
It is Russian made Barnaul. To be fair , you get what you pay for. The cases are lacquered steel, they smell truly awfull (!!), they foul your weapon a little faster than "quality ammo" , 1/2 per 100 result into an incident, can't be reloaded, and by no mean it is a match quality ammo but for 200 metres fun they do the job . For the price I can't complain
.
A "torture test" was conducted testing the Barnaul (sold under "Brown bear" name in the US). It is quite long but but well worth the read , ie : very detailed and informative.

I use it in my pack & go "zombies kit"
