Ready to shoot cast boolits?

Cast boolitz will be on the menu for sure ,but first I have to work up a load for copper coloured pointy things .

Shooting cast boolits in the Swede with accuracy over 1600 fps is the PhD of cast boolit study and practice.

I've just asked dr for advice on this very subject ,I'm always happy to listen to experts ,what say you on 1 in 8.25 twist ,bright bore ( after C2R and motty paste )

Depends really on the the size and shape of your rifles throat.

Finally got to hoot the CG63 , wow this is an accurate rifle! Started with some FNM match ammo,very soft and sooty cases on firing but very tight group at 200 yds. Tried my loads ,very tame as I am fireforming new Lapua brass.
First load = 140gr Hornady Amax ,36.1gr N150. -- very quiet load ,primers normal, group size 4" 10 shots (200yd) Soderin sight.
Second load = 140gr Amax moly ,36.1 gr N150 -- very quiet load, primers normal,group size 42 9 shots ,1 called flyer 200yds
Third load == 140gr Sierra ,36 gr N140 ,better load ,primers ok group 3.5" 10 shots ,200 yds.

The weather deteriorated rapidly at this point so I will continue later.
Very pleased with it so far , I need to know more about the Soderin sight ,this rifle was designed for 300 metre shooting ,will there be enough vertical adjustment in the sight ?
Now I know the rifle's a good 'un I'll up the loads progressively and try different bullets.

What sort of information do you need on the Soderin sight?

I have instruction sheets (Englih translations) and exploded diagrams, somewhere...

I've got several contacts in Sweden as I trade at the arms fair in Stockholm; so I'm gradually building up a nice collection of strange little tins of things, armourers bore gauges, sight covers, paper targets, FSR manuals, cleaning kits, etc.

Anything on the Soderin would be good ,I soaked in solvent and got a load of crap out of it but it's still "notchy" . It's on target but I don't know how much more I can do with good info.
