Vectan powder is supplied by Peter Lawman -- but he doesn't answer his phones or emails ,is he still in business?

Pete Lawman has a few of the CBC Magtech brass shotshell cases on his website

I contacted him about them by telephone, and e-mail, and telephone, and e-mail.....repeat every week or so for about three years: then order from the US

I only know of one RFD with poorer customer service....

IF you want Vectan, seriously look elsewhere.
IF I can find a stockist I may be able to save you the TNT/HazMat fees, as per the Reloder powder

I agree regarding mr lawman. I am one of the lucky few who managed to get hold of him. Travelled 2 hours each way to collect items he told me he had in front of him. Got there to be told he couldnt find any of them.

Either source vectan elsewhere or find an alternative.....

Lyalvale of shotgun cartridge fame are the importer but wont sell to individuals. Saddler, get on the case mate!

I used Vectan AS in my 44 Marlin but due to the problems you highlighted above I'm going to switch to GM3 which Neil Jones Shooting can supply at a very modest price. I can collect that at The Phoenix saving even more money :flag6: :flag6:

Tubal 3000 is a great powder in 308 and 303 but has become chronically expensive if you can get it.
Viht is way cheaper nowadays so I have changed to that.
I got a lot of TU3000 of off Peter a few years back when it was £50 a kilo.
I too use AS in the Marlins as do a lot of my club mates.
Its just about gone now so would be interested in getting a lot more.
Haven't tried Peter in some time but have always found him a bit hit and miss.

After a very long time I managed to get hold of him and got 1000 .44 plated bullets and 2Kg of Nobel GM3 which goes very nicely in the .44, he's still showing it on the web site at £36.95 a Kg

Will do...though the chap I know that can supply it (local to me) is away this week

PM me with any particular powders you need prices on.

I have a mate that works off-shore from Aberdeen, so he can take powder north from me without any problems on his way to work (he has an RCA/pomster to allow him to do this for me)

That's all well and good, but have you a friend who travels south?
