This is my first at using the 2156s. I have never used the 2155s.

For may Savage 12 F T/R, I used 175gr SMK, 44.3gr Varget and touching the lands.

I think he wants to shoot out alot further than 100yds so cast will not do, plus you have clean out all that nasty lead.
:run: quick.
Speechless - hangs his head and exits crying!!!!

So, if, as you say, lead boolits are no good beyond 100x, how do you account for MLAGB 1200x shoots (often with possibles)?

(I'll stick up for you Rog)
Thanks John.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

It looks like for my 1200TX, 44gr Varget jumped .040 is a good load.

I will do a little more tweaking as the weather warms up.

I used 45gr Varget and tested thru a chronograph and averaged 2807 FPS. Im going to try 46gr and work my way up to 46.5 or more depending on the numbers and pressure signs.
