I bought the Sordins basic version, and they work really well. It's amazing how good the stereo ability is given the microphones don't have an ear shape around them. They cut out the bangs in a very unobtrusive manner, yet I can hear everything around me quite easily. Not sure how comfortable they will be if the weather ever warms up though.

I sent an email to Ultimate Ear about getting my Reactears checked out, I still think the valve isn't working as it should. But as others have found, their after-sales service is not brilliant.
Careful now/that sort of thing

Just bought a pair of the Howard Leights from the US ( ebay) for £42 delivered.
Seem to work fine, and quite slimline.

A lot more comfortable than my old plugs which were not much use for the range unless worn with a pair of cans as well

We bought 2 pairs of the Caldwell E-MAX Low Profile Electronic Earmuffs from MidwayUSA, under £20 a pair and work really well :good:

I would be inclined to look out for a set of Peltors, they are cheap enough to get and are designed for shooting. Have a look for the Army issue ones on that well known auction site. we always have a couple of pairs in the car in case someone forgets their own.

I can't find my Sordins...

I have looked everywhere, car, rooms, all our bags, everywhere...can't find them.

Last time I saw them was at the Phoenix.

Guess I have to buy a new pair
