NRA membership

#1 Post by Christel »

Heather,

We were wondering....two things.

If it is true that one cannot shoot at Bisley without the membership and also because it is a MOD range not without the SCC, does that mean that non NRA members are banned from the competitions there now?
How do foreign competitors get their SCC's?

Hi,

There are three ways of shooting at Bisley:

1 as a full member
2 as an affiliated club member on a club day
3 by entering competitions and paying meeting membership

Overseas competitors have a special form that has to be completed by their national or major oerganisation - along the lines of being signed off by the chairman. If they cannot do that then they have to certify with us before they shoot. Some do that anyway so that they get a full years card rather than just be signed off for that competition.
