The first centrefire i bought was my 308 and if i had to clear out every thing else it would be the last thing in the cabinet...

I'll keep my DTA SRS, and the various barrels. Is that cheating?

Yes

Mine would be my scruffy Accuracy International if I could only keep the one.

For me, my 7mm RPA. Like you, I've thought about thinning out and the likes, but, is keeping 1 anymore hassle than keeping the three? I'd say not. If keeping one, keep the lot. Getting rid to thin down, crop the lot....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

.308 I would say my AW but its being sold, so whatever I replace it with AX I suppose anyway .308 ticks loads of boxes.
