They would 'insist' and everyone would hand them in.

My FAC is valuable to me - but I wouldn't bargain with it for my freedom. [ignore the avatar!]
Does it not occurr that by handing in an FAC in such circumstances without effective protest you would indeed be giving up your freedom - Your freedom to CHOOSE!
I didn't say I'd 'just hand it in', though did I? Of course I would kick-off first. At the end of the day though if HMG decide to seize then who are we to stop them?

Better off voting for a 'better government', hence my 'loaded' UKIP question. ;) ;)

My mistake, no you did not say that you would just hand it in, apologies if I took you out of context!

I would, because I feel very strongly about personal freedoms and the right to choose, defy the law and protest, a bad and unjustified law will only ever be addressed if enough people stand up and be counted.

Ukip do state on their website that they will offer the people a Referendum on 'Controversial' issues, I guess shooting could be classed as controversial, it should'nt, but it is, the reason for that lies at the media's door, lies, half truths and misleading information. Our democracy is based on a Government that believe a total percentage vote of 30%, or less from the electorate give them a truly democratic mandate to impose their will on the rest of us, does it, my view is it is neither democratic nor fair and I would challenge any Politician, including UKIP to justify themselves?

I certainly hope 'gun issues' never get to a public vote. We'd be truly doomed then...
