As Adam says, the originator of the firm is not well...he has been in declining health for some years now.

He was an old chap the first time I saw him demonstrating his machines at a show - and that'll be about 25 years ago!!

Supposedly his son will be taking over things, but a blood connection does not always translate into an automatic aptitude on a lathe

I have their current brochure around somewhere...what info are you after?

Update on Alan from his website, not sure how up-to-date it is though.
Good News! Alan is at last out of hospital and recuperating at home. He has not set foot in the workshop yet (and it will take a period of convalescence until he is ready for that) but his brain is engaged with NALAN matters and he is planning how we will catch up on the backlog of work. His recovery has taken longer than we first thought, and it is likely to be early September before we resume production, but he is making excellent progress and we are very pleased to have him home.

I am sure I saw Alan and his son(?) demonstrating the system at the Trafalgar in October.
