Ok lets say I was to have a go at 1000yds with this rifle I normally use
155g A max bullets with 42.3grains of N140.
What would you suggest to get out to 1000yds.

I shoot Lapua 155 Scenar's with 47.5 grains of N540 in a 1:12 barrel which works well at 1000 and keeps me nicely on a small frame at 1200. You would need to work up to the 47.5 however it works for me and some are pushing 155's a lot faster than I do.

... and some much slower.

You can also get ample velocity for 155's at 1000x with N140 (thereby avoiding the barrel-burning double-base powders). There are popular (and successful) commercial loads using circa 46.0gr N140 behind a Sierra 2155; my own long range loads use up to 1.0gr less than this (also with a Sierra 2155). Usual safety disclaimers apply. Work up carefully.
