I spent the first half of the afternoon (no guesses where the morning of 1st January went!) wandering around London Docklands with the girlfriend while looking for a cafe. Good fun, especially reading the plaques in the supposed touristy areas: "A really successful company used to be based here, they went bust in the Great Depression ... Here was a pretty bridge built in 1857, it was demolished in 1890 after someone drove a ship into it ... etc etc)

Following that we went shopping in Canary Wharf. I am now richer by two good books, and she by two boxes of makeup.

Hello Adam,
I was offered it by a friend who has moved on to a custom made mould but it was only £20 with the handles so I thought I would give it a try and see how I got on with it.
It is a Lee single cavity and is stamped "470 MH IV" that my mate brought in the States about 10 years ago. I just weighed a batch and they are 490 grain +/-6 grains.
I dont have much experience of casting boolits yet and was quite chuffed with the way these turned out - I think I might have a go at some .451's for my Enfield Volunteer tomorrow.
