155mm, it is a drill projectile I would say by the shape and the fuzing, not a starburst but HE (substitute) I will as always stand corrected as I only used to blow these things up and not fire them

What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

Reload it and fire it, that's a sure way to find out!

As the man said its a projectile
Yep looks like 155 drill round, should weigh about 43kg if filled, alu dummy fuze should unscrew so you can see inside.

A big one?

Accuracy wise the 30mm bushmaster on the CV90 was rather impressive at 1000m

Cheers for the info, I might paint it green and see if I can get a better fuse to make it look more the part.
