This was it in the construction stages .
A big problem was knocks as it could be shifted up and down by just a fraction . My shooting buddy has made one for a MkIII with the rail support flat on top of the receiver . Mine I replaced with a length of scope rail from the US which replaces the scope blocks .

Still having knocked it at the start of a comp with a quick rezeroe still won the Gold medal .

Re: BSA Martini MkII scope mount
I will post a picture tomorrow, cost wise I have not really thought about it yet. The plan is to eventually offer a front bag rider, 'scope bracket and rail and rear bag rider so the International is ready to go as a BR rifle which it is perfectly suited for.
Re: BSA Martini MkII scope mount
As well as the BR format that Davy is working on we have also made a sporting rifle variation to allow use in the LWS comps. All work done in house other than the crowning of the rifle . Mike and John at the club cut down and thimbholed the stock then reduced the forend to just one hand hold . We cut drilled and fitted Ali angle with scope rail generally as above and there u go nice simple sporter. If it wasn't for the very audiable ejection click would make a cracking rabbiter with a mod on. Try and post a couple of pics in a bit .
How's the bits coming for the next one /d ? Will get u dimensions for the stock for rear bag rider next . Also have new idea for front end so catch ya soon ,

BTW will the scope mounts be handed, if so will you be doing L/H version?

Dromia,
The sight bracket picks up from the left hand side of the receiver using the fixings for the existing sights.
