How about a polite letter to Sgt. Samaroo suggesting he gets in touch with Assistant Chief Constable Adrian Whiting of Dorset Police. ACC Whiting is the Association of Chief Police Officers lead on firearms licensing. He is an active shooter himself and gave some very well thought out and constructive views in regards to firearms licensing and legal firearms to the Home Office consultative process.....

To be honest, renewing one licence, per gun, per year, will be an administrative nightmare! Sgt. Samaroo is setting himself up to fail if this is indeed, his idea. License the individual, not the object. You don't need a different driving license for every car you own....
