I have a family membership with Strathpeffer - only an extra £5 on top of normal membership! :shakeshout:

Mike

Family memberships are fine as long as they all go through the SSS and obtain their cards as a result of completing their probation.

I thought this was the conclusion we came to at the AGM Mike, also that there would be no discount for family members.

I think we did BFD but I wanted to find it if it was illegal as mentioned by some.

No, it's not illegal.

Both of my clubs offer family and youth rates.

As said, temporary and day memberships can no longer be offered, likewise the number of guest days snd the arrangements surrounding them are now more stringent. But to say a club can't charge what it likes, because of legislation us honestly ridiculous.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
