Now I know there was a bit of a thread on this sort of subject qclittle while ago, but in short, those who have experience, where's the best place to have a cabbie of the stuff we can't shoot in the UK when in Las Vegas?
A friend is off there on a short holiday with some other friends. They have all shot before, but mainly the clay type thingy.
It's a short break and they're staying on the "strip" and don't want to venture too far as.......... the group consists of four blonde girls!!!

Machine guns in Vegas
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: Machine guns in Vegas
I went to the 'imaginatively named' "The Gun Store" http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/ back in the early naughties and everything i wanted to shoot was there; uzi, MP5, M16, minimi, grease gun, glocks of every description, .50AE Desert Eagle etc etc, was great fun and the 'shoulder-to-shoulder against Bin Laden' spirit was still in full force so as soon as you mentioned you were British you got special treatment
Having looked at the website above now though it looks like it now caters more for no-experience tourists and the prices have sky-rocketed
Might be a decent backup option if no one can suggest anything better

Re: Machine guns in Vegas
I've been looking at doing this sort of thing next week when I go to Vegas as the start of my US Road trip :shakeshout:
I was really displeased to say the least at the prices most of these places are charging.
I just googled "Shooting ranges in Las Vegas" and it came upp with half dozen or so.
If I get on any better when I get there I'll let you know

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
