Hello Dougan,
Ok another point i can think of is that the lead might be rough be it by fouling or heat cracking.
You can feel it by pushing a cleaning rod with a close fitting patch through the chamber towards the rifling,This must be smooth.
If that area accumelates fouling than you have an increased pressure which translates in more thrust backwards of your case and
ofcoarse the locking lugs.
If you can get hold of some JBs bore bright as sold by Brownells than you can carefully polish this entrance point.
If you necksize please stay on the low end of your loadings otherwise you put extra strain on the locking lugs.
Beter is to bump the shoulder few thousands to overcome this.
I had a great time at the championship i enjoyed every minute.
My goal was realistic set at everything higher than 200 points out of the 300 maximum.
Shot 213 points,New what i did wrong so i was more than happy to see my results.
Ending at the 38th place of the 56 participants in the dicipline veterans rifle is fine by me.
Dicipline veterans rifle is held with rifles build before 1950.
The match was held at the 100 meters indoors range in Katwijk.
