Mine has the Knurling and wrench indents.... bought last May.

I must admit I've never removed mine, and until this thread didn't know anything about the "barrel tensioning"..

So if i wanted to get mine done, Is it a case of remove it and send it to Richard... or is it easiest to take the whole gun to Bromsgrove..?

(I'm out of the country for the next 2 weeks, so nothing will happen quickly.. :D)

Daryll.

Safetyfirst, did you have yours done and did it turn out how you'd hoped? :D

What about a picture of it with the moderator attached?.. :good:

Just done the spring kit today! Paid a small fortune to ship it from the states with a load of other bits including that broken Mossberg MVP extractor for my mate from another thread (also fitted this week to great cheering)

The gunsmith has a lot on when I had the chance to go down there and I’m just waiting for another opportunity.

As promised! Thanks to Richard Pope for his swift machining today.

Thanks also the amazing UK Custom Shop for their moderator, hot tea and Black Forest mince pie, a very welcoming and professional bunch!

Quiet but it’s shooting all over the shop and the POI rises visibly as the barrel warms up.

I lightly tightened the tensioner and blue thread locked it in place. Perhaps I need more or less tension on this?

Oh..sounds odd...does it do the same thing with and without the suppressor?

It may be a tension thing but I just nipped mine up with the wrench not too tight and its still as accurate as it always was.

Adding the can changes the POI dramatically, I think it might tighten it up a bit more, the gunsmith said not to over tighten it but perhaps I went too far the other way...
