Recovering of the ropes on jurisdiction of recoveries and practicing several attempts to get the good diamétres rope and spring, I achieved a satisfactory result!

I am also looking for handlebars of P14 and pasta and a handlebar shoot. For a fix up the blade of my measure 3.2 mm handlebars.


A 200 metre I am on the 4 shooting fix cursor position!


Are you he of the sizes less than handlebars!

I had the pleasure of interviewing John a couple of years ago regarding the triggers he supplied Geoff Hart, who arguably made the best TR conversions from a No.4 that has been done. Bert Whitaker's "Special" coming a close second!


John's No.4 sight is something to behold, IMHO better than then any of the P-H or AJ Parker TZ 4's, he also built a TR action in the mid 1980's, had he not had an order from South Africa for 25 sights then the Swing would have had some serious competition at Bisley.

My Hart No.4 conversion fitted with a Brindles trigger, incidentally Johns house name was Brindles (not a lot of people know that!)

So the triggers were names after his house then, I have always wondered where the name came from, sadly there is virtually information available on t'webynet.

My Brindles trigger is very dear to me, probably second only to my original Accuracy International.

If we're not careful the generation that changed the face of TR from the No.4 .303 (SR"b") era to what we shoot with now will all be gone in a few years.

I hope in some small way to record their achievements, only a couple of weeks ago Major Walter Magnay died. I doubt whether many forum members have heard of his name, however....how many of you have come across a No.4 with a plate brazed into the top action to make it stiffer?

Hi,
The Brindles triggers and Sights were made by John Light. He has now retired and I have taken over some of his products.
Although the Triggers have not been in production for some time, spares are still available. If you have a problem with a trigger I recommend that you consider sending it to me for a service. These triggers were hand built so simply sending you a part may not solve the problem. Most parts need to be custom fitted. I have not considered starting up production of new triggers - However if there is demand I will consider it.
I am now making the Brindles Sentinel rear sight for NRA "Target Rifle" Shooting. I can supply mounting brackets for most actions, spare part and servicing are also available.
