New Cz

I am a big fan of Cz pistols & already have couple of them, with the Cz P01 Omega (compact alloy) been by far my favourite of all. However I was after something a bit different, a new full size, steel, range gun with a decocker.
I finally managed to find this Cz75 BD in excellent condition in Germany & finally got it over to the Czech Republic.





Among its Pre-B mates



So sunday, off to the range with couple of friends for a bit of shooting



And of course trying my new BD



I was not disappointed : legendary Cz ergonomics, great balance, heavy trigger but nearly as good as my old Pre-B, good DA, accurate enough to constantly hitting clays at 20 meters . Once again , 100% Czech perfektion

I am very happy & can’t wait to run it in classes & practical/dynamic training.

Due to more agressive marketing, Cz pistols are getting very popular & sadly prices have risen steadily . My P01 Omega went from 14,000 kc 4 years ago to 19,500 kccurrently. Also with post-brexit Sterling worth a lot less, a brand new Cz75 as the one advertised in your post now costs around £.675.
The popularity of older Pre-B models among Cz buyers are also driving the prices up, meaning that Germany is a good place to look for one . My BD cost me €.250 with an extra €.95 to cover shipping & export papers. A price that would be very hard to beat in the Czech Rep.

So I decided to invest in a few & complete my collection while I can still afford it .

Do bear in mind my dear « SBB » (So British Badger), that the total cost of the 2 vintage cz75 Pre-B & the cz50 on the above photo was below what a single fancy LBP would have set me back by in Good Old Blighty but on the other hand, the down side is that I get to shoot them only every 4/6 weeks .

I also have a BD along with the Kadet .22 upper and actually like the Kadet kit better than shooting the 9mm upper. The Kadet is very accurate.

CZ handguns are popular and affordable here in the USA

The CZ75 was always my favourite and probably the only hand gun I have ever missed, having said that I shot the SIG 210M a lot in DK and was very impressed with it for obvious reasons. Sadly I doubt I will ever get to try one of the new CZ offerings.

+1 , Kadet is a super conversion. A Transi Cz75 Pre-B & Kadet conversion is currently on its way
