New purchase

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

New purchase

Posted here to, due to not being sure if this was posted in the picture section was right, but then I found this hand gun section.

Purchased today a Taurus g2c 9mm pistol from swangos, in whitesburg tn.
Very cheap and has good reviews on YouTube, fires flawlessly,by all accounts...
Tennessee bureau of investigation check took less than 5 minutes which was a relief, now I'm set and don't need the wife's credentials.... Hopefully myself and the wife may do a conceal and carry next month if afforded..
Bought 2 boxes of Federal 9mm 115g @ $11 per box for 50.

If I moved to the US my first handgun purchase would be a 1911.

If I moved to the US I have no idea what I would have, there are so many to choose from. Probably a SIG 210

Looks like a good size for a carry gun.

Ooooh.

I think a Beretta 92, always loved those, used to carry one when I was an airsofter back in the day, always pointed where I looked.

Didn't realise they were so cost effective.

Loved my 92F airsoft, had one in C02 as well, then bought a grand power K22 as its the closest thing we've got in LBP!

The day I bought the gun from swangos, I did place an order through PSAT to purchase the Taurus g2c, but when I rang to change FFL they said they would be posting the pistol within 7 days, or I could cancel....I cancelled.

Looked on line and found the Taurus at $207 at swangos, last one there and they put it up for me.
First time purchaser/buyer went really well, they were friendly and run classes with lunch thrown in.
So I'll probably use these as the distance is the same as tri cities, but the journey is much easier as it's mostly interstate...
He even took an AR15 of the wall to hand me without asking , good family firm...
