9mm Lantac Straight Pull Announced

#1 Post by Zilberbak »

Lantac have just announced that they are building a 9mm straight pull AR configured rifle. With the possible demise of the 9mm SGC Lever Release this might be a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Still hoping for a grandfathering type solution if they do get banned but if not then this might be a replacement. In fact might just have one anyway.

It was the HK style Tri-Lug system, so will fit the readily available A-TEC SMG moderator.

I think they've missed a trick not having a 'converter' type lower receiver so that there could've been interchangeability with .223 uppers/lowers.

Still, its very tempting :p

Don't like the end of the side charger, looks uncomfortable to use.

If it is their standard charging handle I think it can be fitted with alternative pull handles. I like the idea of the Tri-lug for moderators. Not sure of the handguard but can easily spec an alternative. I would use this to replace my SGC LR to do optics Gallery Rifle.
