In fact, as this is a club guest day, non shooters may attend, though it may be a baptism of fire shooting the comp in the morning. Maybe better to watch and wait until the afternoon plink when rifle handling and range safety drills can be administered at leisure.:-) Anyone is welcome to use my .308 at 900yds if theirs is not up to it.
Ooh, can I use it ? ;)

Mate, if mine are allowed off a lead without supervision I am sure you will be fine Ken clapclap

My rugby shorts are pregnant again.......must be the stubborn understains  :run:

I am really looking forward to shooting this and I am sure the Vikings S&L will be up to the job plus it will be great to meet up with people again, it has been a while.

I will ask not to be RO that day so I can mooch Dave, but I wont shoot the Konnie in it as I cannot reliably set the elevation yet (hence wanting a decent Sightron on it so I can use it for wind practice and doing daft stuff at Lydd/Senybridge etc).

Its my very poor mans L42 mate

Pete. Thought you were using your triple2?
My .308 is over weight for the comp but fine for 900yds pm.

We are nearing capacity for two lanes so should be a good bash.

Great news - looking forward to hearing the feedback. :good:

I am for the comp, but might have issues at 900 with it. So I thought I'd use your 308 to save the barrel wear/cleaning of my barrel ;)

Any restrictions on set triggers for this competition? My CZ has one and I usually use it, but if it is a no-no, then I'll get a big of trigger time in its "normal" mode.

Triggers are free as long as they are safe and I would much sooner see a set trigger in use than one of the new sub 4oz offerings.
