Replacements targets arrived today.

To put it into perspective - Our target, F-Class 300m, 500m and 600m

All measurements in Millimetres
Aiming Mark 600 - 600 - 1000 - 1000

V-Bull 60 - 35 - 72 - 80

Bull 120 - 70 - 145 - 160

Inner 240 - 140 - 290 - 320

Magpie 360 - 280 - 660 - 660

Outer 480 - 420 - 1000 - 1000

S-Class - F Class Ave (300-600m)

V-Bull 60 - 62.3

Bull 120 - 125

Inner 240 - 250

Magpie 360 - 533.3

Outer 480 - 806.67

So we might get some high scores at 300m but 500/600m will sort everyone out fingerscrossed

BTW I just worked out that with a 5mph cross wind I'll have to aim off by one complete target at 600m! :o

Good work and I think the targets are do-able as well. We need to get them tested at a few locations and see how it works. I feel a visit to Thetford coming on.

The S&L vs the Tikka grudge match?

Looking at the numbers again 600m could be a bit tricky if the wind is gusting but we won't know until we give it a go.

Did you and Mike get my e-mail regarding scoring?

Scoring email?

I usually shoot 1/2 minute V targets at 600 and this just adds a bit more to the challenge.

Hopefully, I've got the balance right then.

Targets will be posted out, hopefully by Tuesday at the latest - if you want a target I need to know ASAP so I can post them out and order more if required.

Unless anyone has major objections these will be the dates for this year.

April - 300m (Postal)
May - 500m (Postal)
June - break (Strathpeffer S-Class comp)
July - 600m (Postal)

Aug-Nov gives us enough time to run a second round, if we wish. I've also been offered the opportunity to hold a second S-Class comp (Strathpeffer RPC @ Cawdor) at the end of the year Oct or Nov - if I've got enough takers I'll do so, but using the postal comp targets.

The full S-Class comp in June will be shot alongside Strathpeffer's F-Class comp using the same targets. As it's a Strathpeffer comp all are welcome but only Strathpeffer members can win/place - however, scores will be posted on the S-Class website and we can sort out placings then.

There was a brief mention of an entry fee for the Postal comp but as far as I know nothing has been decided.

CoF will be 10 shoots in 5 minutes at each range - NO sighters. To count for the Postal comp, you have to have shot the CoF by the end of the month it is scheduled.

This info will go onto the S-Class website ASAP, as well as any other updated details.
