Re: Sig Cross Rifle
Did you get to handle it, specifically the stock? It looks about as stable as a Spanish taxi driver in rush hour to me, but I suppose it depends on how its built

Those security cables were a bit short, but the stock seemed to lock up nice and tight.Blackstuff wrote:Did you get to handle it, specifically the stock? It looks about as stable as a Spanish taxi driver in rush hour to me, but I suppose it depends on how its built

Re: Sig Cross Rifle
I had a chance to speak to one of the Sig reps on Friday at the shooting show, he said he expects to see the Cross in the UK by the end of the year. We had a good chat about their new .277 round, he said they're in the middle of doing barrel life testing in precision rifles at the moment, but they're expecting good numbers as with their .277 chambered machine guns they didn't see any significant loss of accuracy after 5000+ rounds

Not sure I would be happy stalking with that silhouette ! Public perceptions can be bad enough with a traditional rifle . Now as a paper puncher....
