Thanks for the info guys, the PH I have seen is in great condition woodwork and barrel, I have 243 cal on my licence but others say change it for 308 cal for target shooting can I ask is this right and why better for target shooting

  • Availability of Target/Match Ammunition
    Availability of Target Rifles as opposed to Hunting Rifles
    Barrel Life
    Shared Firing Point Knowledge
    Accessibility to FTR Competition - .243 would be F-Open where you might be shooting against any number of wonder calibres, FTR is shot against .308 or .223 making a (somewhat) more level playing field.
There are likely more reasons, but those were the first 5 to come to mind...
