Bipod recomendations please.

#1 Post by Alpha1 »

Can anyone recommend a bipod for the Ruger precision rifle a guy next to me on Saturday had one with wider feet I don't know what make it was but it was much more stable than my Harris. Mine was too high even on its lowest setting I had real trouble getting a stable shooting position. I ended up with a block of wood with my rear bag on top of it. Not good for accurate groupings.

I have just fitted a Fortmeier Bipod to my T3 Tac A1. Looks great with the tactical looks. BIG feet and very stable. Not cheap but it is worth every penny I think. http://www.phoenixtactical.co.uk/fortmeier-bipod.html

I have Harris bipods on all my rifles. They seem to work well for me.

Doesn't the bloke from the "Shooting Shed" make one of those fancy wide bipods?

Great bi-pod - especially for the Ruger Precision with top Pic rail for mounting.

It's a Gen3 so no rail on the handguard.
