Remington 700 trigger ID

#1 Post by pigsy »

Morning,

I have a 700 action in 6.5 CM.

Bought new (recently) it came with the X Mark pro trigger tag. However, there isn’t an external adjustment screw. Nothing more specific turned up on Google - everything referenced the external trigger weight screw.

I’m wondering if there are any Remmy officianados on here who can shed some light on this please?

Thanks

Adam

there is an adjustment screw on the front, hidden under a glob of dried snot.

But, after using mine once, I replaced it with a timney

The blob of sealer is hiding the adjustment screw and encouraging not to touch it from the heavy US compliant setting. If you can get it all cleared out you can adjust it to a half decent trigger but not as good as the Walker it replaced.
Unless you time is free and you spend a long time on this set up its “cheaper” and better to buy an aftermarket trigger timney, riflebasix etc.
