Bore light

Can anyone recommend a bore inspection light .My old faithful packed up and bought a new one but it is so bright it's useless .

Get one of the USB endoscopes. Available on amazon for a tenner. Work great, will also work on some smart phones.

To use put a something in the bore ahead of the objective to reflect the light, ball of aluminium foil works good.

An endoscope is the way to go, but be prepared to see some things you may not want to see!!

Google ball moulds, which will bring you to jeff Tanner's web page . Small, drop in bore lights of superb quality available. Sadly, Jeff has now gone on, but his son is still running the business.

Will give Jeff's site a look .He has made me several ball moulds in the past , a shame he is no longer with us .

Ordered a light from Jeff Tanner which arrived this morning .
I managed to over pay for delivery without knowing which was refunded .
Doesn't get much better than that .
