Bumped into a few TR friends at the LMRA today and they were pretty despondent about it.
Was anybody there? bumpsign

I write words for money - but not here. If you think my words here are written to the same standard as my words for money elsewhere, you're wrong. Have a nice day.

Too tired and broken to post reply other than lies were told and excuses were made.

Spent a week in a very wet muddy field in Dumfries then drove back to go to AGM then two days at work. Spare time outside work has been spent in bed.

A lot went on but a lot which should have been said wasn't - at one point I think a vote of no confidence might have succeeded but opportunity was missed. Lots of p*** off members.

Highlight was a letter which was read out from someone who couldn't attend (incidentally he shares a hut with the Chairman). He said he wanted to say a couple of words about the Journal . . . they were "its crap!" Cue lots of laughter and applause - oddly enough I liked that bit

Guess we'll have to wait for the minutes

Love

I saw Derek Mabbott's comments in the Journal and generally he seems to be singing from the same hymn sheet as a lot of us.
I wonder if anything will change while Pizer is in the Chair. He's the one who presided over the recent NRA failures and he should do a 'Bob Diamond' and go. I have little faith in the Trustees too, but then I am a cynical old so and so.

I'll be at Bisley with Dromia this weekend if anybody wants to chat to us.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.
