September NRA Journal
Arrived today and I just had a very quick skim through it and was quite impressed, it seems to have more content this time and has a few articles I look forward to reading.
Well done all involved.

Re: September NRA Journal
Well, thank goodness for that, I shall look forward to seeing mine when we get home on Friday.
Mind you, it wouldn't have taken a lot to improve it!

Re: September NRA Journal
Its got good coverage of the Imperial Meeting (TR MR and Schools/Cadets) and the cover has a photo of 'Warbie' being chaired off. It seems to be getting back to the Original format but with lots of colour pics and adverts.

Re: September NRA Journal
It was good to start with and great leap forward from what went before, even with the omissions, but over a few issues it seems to have gone from strength to strength and is starting to have an identity, just need the NRA to keep pace with that.
Perhaps externalising the management/governance of the NRA is the way to go?

Re: September NRA Journal
Is it online anywhere yet? Can't see it on the NRA website.
I write words for money - but not here. If you think my words here are written to the same standard as my words for money elsewhere, you're wrong. Have a nice day.

It is better (although I noticed a few mistakes ) although I think we probably have Tony de Launay to thank for writing an awful lot of it.
Still think its lacking in content and info though (took me about 20 mins to read) but I am obviously biased.
Nice to see I'm still organising the Euro Champs and Ages Match though :cool2:

Re: September NRA Journal
Sorry, but I still think it is a bit "lightweight".........plus page 34 shows uncaptioned pictures of muzzleloaders being shot within an article on the 2012 Match Rifle competitions.....

Re: September NRA Journal
Its working for me. Much brighter and with a broader scope.
"A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn".
