I keep hearing different things with this that make me pause though. I asked BASC and they seemed to think that, yes, it was legal to buy but that it wasn't legal to use for target shooting... There was a similar article in gunmart a year or 2 back that also seemed to back that point.

I don't wish to spread falsities, Iv'e only been involved in shooting for a few yrs and simply don't know what the deal is with this.

AFAIK there is no legislation that would prevent some using expanding ammo for target shooting.

The only restriction i'm aware of is that some indoor clubs don't allow it because of the extra damage it can do to the spalsh curtains
