It's a stecher trigger Gazza, the 1st one set the second or you can still use only the 2nd but with a heavier pull. They were very popular on German hunting rifles. It came standard on my 22 Krico.

set trigger as the others have said, use the front trigger and its about 3-4lbs, pull the rear trigger and then use the front trigger and its about 1/4lb pull weight, and its been stress tested over miles of rough fields that have bruised my ribs and rearranged my internal organs, and never once tripped (the safety disconnects the trigger from the sear so pulling the trigger with the safety on results in a click but not a bang)Gazza wrote:Double trigger on the Mauser?
