Where do you keep your keys?....

New to the sport? Or just not sussed something out yet? Please ask your questions in here, there are many experienced shooters on the forum and someone will for sure come along and answer your question. This is a section for new shooters so if anyone can think of something please submit it.

As others have suggested, I use a separate keypad safe to store the keys in - the sort designed to be put just outside your front door so you can get in if you forgot your keys.

I think I have a Master Lock one, it was about £20 from Homebase.

I wouldn't trust my keys in something that can be opened with a paperclip. especially something that screams I have a key in me.

On my last renewal, after he had asked my wife where I kept the keys, :squirrel: he suggested a keypad safe. Personally, I'd rather not have one and have continued to do what I have done for the last 6 years, keep them hidden where only I know. ;)

yep, multiple hiding places...
I might use a keybox, but I'd leave it empty, just let someone waste a few mins breaking into that

first they have to find it ! same as those people who hide their keys in the house,with the added delay of opening it once its been found,
security in this context is protecting against oportunistic thieves, someone who knows what they are after will get into your cabinet keys or no!
those that carry their keys with them are the easiest targets of all!
