Took the Wolf out for a walk and came back to an email from Nick from Heinnie saying he was wrong re the dates, that the XS is back in stock from today.

:shakeshout:

Ordered one on the spot.
Excellent customer service from Heinnie!

Never heard ya call Dave that before!!

Pics of said knife needed....

I was rudely followed home from Bisley by 3 knives - all Gerbers:
1. A Vietnam era Mk.II

2. A 70 Anniversary Mk.II

3. A Combat 06 folder

....no.3 may be a keeper - the others are part of my Mk.II collection :shakeshout:

Quite possibly - but not sure how many of the post-war BundesWehr were in that vicinity though - unless towels needed strategically placing on deck chairs

That looks like a 1970's vintage German Scout knife!

Can you believe we used to head out in the woods with them........ a big gang of us all aged about 10 years old! bangbang All carrying knives and airguns. Never a copper called. Now, there'd be helicopters and ARV's all over the place!!

So, what's this shoite called progress? ****
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
