Recommend me a M65 jacket please

#1 Post by falco67 »

My old shooting coat has died and I fancy an M65 type jacket.

Having had a look on the web there are a lot to chose from and varying reviews of the same jacket, from good to bad.

What would you recommend?

I normally buy Xl but sizing also seems like a problem!

regards

Arktis is about the best for this sort of jacket.

are you looking for winterwear? water/windproof ect, or just a simple jacket to use and abuse?

Thanks, I've had a look and they seem to fit the bill.

They are a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay but they are top of the list.

I have a Brandit one. About fifty quid from Military 1st - size-wise I found a size up from stated chart suited me best. Does the job for rolling around in the dirt and grubby from handling shooting stuff. Anything from eighty to a hundred notes plus (other brands) seems excessive to me for what I use it for.

Check the arktis website regularly - they often do sales.

In fact I think there is one on now on "unusual" patterns such as snow camo etc
