European courier services?
Anyone have experience of decent but affordable couriers to get bulky items in from Europe?
Trying to get a bicycle from Finland plus a 2m x 0.5m x 0.25m "thing which shall be nameless"
Only other option is somehow drive across in a hire car & collect in person!
A bike could get away as being "sporting luggage" (at an excess) on a plane but not sure of "the thing"

Urk, it is revolting stuff and the work of the devil. The Danes eat such stuff as well and the few examples I have tried have been spat out on the spot.froggy wrote:A super king size salmiakki ?

Granted - It is a bit of an acquired taste .
I recently came back from a shooting WE in Holland with my bag stuffed to the brim with the Dutch version Sadly I am already cracking open my last bag... I hope Ratty will share.

Re: European courier services?
I found a shop selling the stuff in Sweden just as I was leaving and stuffed around 3 kgs of random types in my suitcase for the Viking, I was dreading customs in case they set the sniffer dogs on me, poor things would have probably collapsed.
The Danish Piratos are the one to avoid at all costs, they are capable of turning your head inside out and would probably be classified as a nerve agent in some countries.
