Re: Overlord 70th Anniversary

I have just read this article by Virginia Fraser in the Daily Telegraph, about her Father in law Lord Lovat. Very good and well worth reading.

The comments below the article are also worth reading, this from one of the sums up my feelings.
Although I was born after the war I have always been - and will always be - grateful to the brave men who took part in ridding Europe of Nazism.

On this anniversary day I'd particularly like to express my sympathy and deepest gratitude to those who lost family members in the conflict. Their sacrifice made my life better. I'm aware of that and I'll always be in their debt.
