I have a couple of pretty good electronic earmuffs - 3m Peltor SportTac and the Peltor Tactical 500 - these I like because they are Bluetooth enabled. I have tried others but these seem to work best for me. Next step I think will be the in-ear type TEP 100 but I just cannot afford them right now.

speaking of bluetooth, I'm just replacing my work ear defenders (peltor ws alert xp's) and I've been looking at sordin's. anyone got the Bluetooth versions? think they'd work ok in a noisy industrial environment, or are the phone mics more for quiet phone calss.>?

Peltor hearing protection equipment is good kit and well-regarded in the workplace. Spares are readily available.

I use the Peltor Sport tac headset and I find it comfortable and not too bulky. Noise reduction is good (as with all Peltor products) and the sound quality is acceptable.

Try as many different types as you can before you buy and remember ... the most expensive models may not necessarily be the best (for you).
