Parcelforce

#1 Post by Blighty »

Have found a RFD who is willing to sell a few of my rifles (and get one of them proofed) and he has told me to package them up and he’ll get Parcelforce to collect them.
I am sure that he is correct in saying that this can be done but does anyone have experience of doing this and are there any issues to look out for?
Also any advice on how to package 3 rifles?

:good:

Bubble wrap/card board/box...remember that PF have a tendency to play football with parcels.

You do not need to put a label on the parcel as PF will do so.

Ace!

There does seem to be confusing info about Parceforce carrying firearms though.

You can only use PF for firearms if you have a firearms account with them.

As your RFD has an account he can get the guns picked up from you - with us the booking is an all day booking so one has to stay at home and wait for the pick up.
