Re: BASC - Home office approved shooting club
its not a requirement of HOA to have your own range, they can book lanes at Bisley on your behalf if you are a member

I was aware of that, so they don't have their own range.kennyc wrote:its not a requirement of HOA to have your own range, they can book lanes at Bisley on your behalf if you are a member
How do they deal with guest days when using other club ranges?

Re: BASC - Home office approved shooting club
Is BASC a home office approved club?
Re: BASC - Home office approved shooting club
BASC is not a shooting club it is an organization that represents shooters. They don't have guest days they don't book ranges either. What made you think they had there own ranges.

Same way as any other club holding a guest day on a range they don't own (if that's what BASC do). It happens at Bisley all the time.bb2 wrote:I was aware of that, so they don't have their own range.kennyc wrote:its not a requirement of HOA to have your own range, they can book lanes at Bisley on your behalf if you are a member

What's brought this up?
Re: BASC - Home office approved shooting club
So, are they restricted to 12 days a year for non FAC holders and police informed of those days?
Re: BASC - Home office approved shooting club
Here for example...…..

Is that a guest day for Silverstone club, ie one of their 12 allowed days? Non FAC holders welcomed to attend and shoot.

This is a very strange thread .

I feel there is something behind the somewhat vague questions....
All I know is that two of the three clubs I'm a member of don't bother with guest days as it's just too much hassle....

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
